LeRoy Davidson, Music

LeRoy comes to us from San Diego, California. He began playing piano at a very early age, then branched out to include electronic organs and digital keyboards. During his colorful career, he has provided live music for the shows at San Diego’s Sea World, and background music for CBS-TV daytime dramas in New York. He was also a touring artist for the Hammond Organ Company.
Teaching organ, piano, and keyboard has been a major point in his career. Having studied with world famous concert organist Mildred Alexander, he uses her method of organ mastery. He also teaches a course called “Fake It Till You Make It”, for all keyboards. LeRoy provided music exclusively for the Center for Spiritual Living in San Diego for many years and now brings his own brand of inspired musicianship to OUUF.
Harmony Rutter, Music

Harmony Rutter is a passionate educator, musician, avid gardener, bicycle enthusiast, and Mom of two; who brings her commitment to the Principles of Unitarian Universalism to the Music Program at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Raised in a multi-faith home, she is inspired by her upbringing and her well-rounded liberal arts education at Pacific Lutheran University to foster an open mind and love of learning in her students.
Her first job working in education was in 2012 with the Bicycle Transportation Alliance of Oregon as a Walk+Bike Ambassador where she provided bicycle safety education to 4th and 5th graders in the Portland Public School District. After spending some time at an intentional community, she came home to Kitsap County and began exploring Montessori and Positive Parenting when she found out that she was going to be a mom in 2015. She has worked with the Bainbridge Island Cooperative Preschool and Sequim’s Little Explorers Early Learning Center. Her children attend Five Acre School where we met the wonderful Director of RE Julia Buggy. When she was invited by the Director to the fellowship in 2019 she felt immediately at home and accepted by the UU’s.
In addition to her work with the RE Program, Harmony is a Civil Rights Researcher with a Washington Non-Profit, collaborates with the amazing folks at the PNW Liberal Religious Educators Association, and just joined the WSU Extension Clallam County Master Gardener Volunteer Program. She hopes to inspire dedication to building a fair and just world full of peace, equity and living sustainably on Mother Earth.
