I Am What I Am
As part of OUUF’s Gay Pride service, my message will concentrate on my personal journey and beliefs. Though speaking only for myself, hopefully the congregation will gain some insight into the gay/queer community and its challenges.

Guest Speaker Bio
I graduated from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota with a teaching degree and triple major in Art, Business, and Psychology. I’ve often hesitated telling people I have this degree; I student taught but never had a paid position. Back then teaching and being gay weren’t the best combination. Later graduated from St. Cloud Beauty College with a hairdresser’s license. Being gay and a hairdresser were much more compatible! Now retired from cutting/styling. Moved to Sequim 40 some years ago.
