DEMOCRACY ON THE MOVE

Peaceful Vigil – FRIDAYS in Sequim: Every Friday, 4:00-5:30pm, at the Four Corners
(Washington and Sequim Avenue intersection), there will be a peaceful vigil. This is an
opportunity to meet with and support folks working to save democracy. Sponsored
by Indivisible Sequim.
Support our Veterans – SATURDAY, May 24th, 2:00-4:00pm, at the Four Corners
intersection in Sequim. Pro-veteran signs appreciated.
No Kings Day – SATURDAY, June 14th (Flag Day). Demonstration of public resistance
to corrupt and authoritarian politics in the United States. Time and Location to be
determined.

Aside from these events, there are many things you can do:

Be in touch with your representatives:
Send emails or write letters
Call
Show up in person and speak to staff directly.
Tips for calls or letters:
Keep message short: “I’m opposed to….” OR “I’m in favor of …..”
1 issue per message!
Make it personal!
