Upcoming demonstration/gathering events in our area

Jolie Will shares updates on upcoming local events including a vigil for democracy on Friday and a civil/human rights discussion on Thursday, reminding you of the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’ passing on July 17th and an ongoing private group for Indivisible Sequim on July 26th.

Here are a few upcoming events in our area.  If you hear of others, please feel free to let me know and I will send the information out.

Friday, July 4th – 4:00-5:30pm  Vigil for Democracy meets every Friday at this time on the corners of Sequim Avenue and Washington Street 

Thursday, July 17th – 4:00-6:00pm “Good Trouble Lives on; Civil/Human Rights” will meet along West Washington Street and North Priest Road in Sequim.

   July 17th is the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’ passing.  It is a national aday of nonviolent action to defend our democracy and carry forward John’s legacy of Good Trouble. 

Saturday, July 26th – 12noon-2:30pm Post Card writing, Sign making, Phoning, etc.

   This is an ongoing, private group for members of Indivisible Sequim.  If you are interested, you will need to join.  They can be found on the internet and also on Facebook.
