Rose Prestipino, President	I approach this opportunity with enthusiasm and humility. My desire is to fill the role adequately and with zest. My UU experience began by joining the UU Congregation of Rockland County (NY) as a UU newbie and then later was elected president. About 5 years ago. I served on the OUUF Board as trustee. As a professional educator, I taught music education and special education for 15 years before moving into school administration for another 15 years. This work included special education and prison education administrator. I concluded my career as the NM State Director of Inmate Instruction. At OUUF, I have chaired the Landscape Team and led the charge to create the Friendship Garden. The OUUF community inspires me and I would like to be an active participant. I believe in our principles and salute our successes. _______________________________________________________
Dianne Whitaker, Vice President	I live in Sequim with Tux, my cat. I have been a member of OUUF for over 20 years. I have previously served on the board of trustees as Secretary, Vice President and President. I am a member of several of our OUUF committees, including the Caring Committee, the Membership Committee, the Sunday Services Committee, and the Tech Committee. I am a stocker and the scheduler for our Little Free Pantry. I am a proud member of OUUF and guilty of proselytizing about us at times. _______________________________________________________
Greg Sensiba, Finance Director	Raised as a Unitarian, Greg graduated from high school in El Paso, TX and was nominated to attend the US Air Force Academy. After graduation in 1973 with a BS in Computer Science, he attended navigator school and was fortunate to graduate high enough in his class to select an assignment in the C-5A Galaxy at Travis AFB, CA. A few years later, he was assigned to Air Force Studies and Analysis at the Pentagon. During this time, his mother introduced him to a friend and co-worker, Vicki Shaw, and they were married in 1980. His next assignment was to Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany. During this assignment, he earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University. After an assignment to Scott AFB, IL, he retired from the Air Force with 20 years of service and began to follow his wife on her assignments. His post-AF work was in computers–either programming or analyzing requirements for other programmers. He retired in 2014 and moved to Sequim. While a member of OUUF, he was in the choir, has served as a member-at-large on the Board, overseen the installation of the driveway from Barr Rd., and helped with the Little Free Pantry including construction on the Florence and Michael Bucierka Social Justice Building. _______________________________________________________
Cynthia Green	I currently live in Sequim about a mile away from my daughter Kendra. I first moved to the Olympic Peninsula in the mid 1970s. I grew up in Texas and have also lived in Oregon. I began attending OUUF in 2015. I was anticipating my retirement from the Port Angeles School District and wanted to get connected with a supportive community beyond my work place. I knew Dianne Whitaker through working at the school district and also working to help elect Obama in the 2008 election. I knew Dianne attended OUUF. I researched the seven UU principles and sources, and it just felt right. Soon I became a member, because I knew I had found my spiritual home. During my years with the OUUF, I have been involved with the Religious Explorations program, acted as coordinator for the Story For All Ages, helped to form the Reflections women’s group, organized recreational games (bocci ball, shuffleboard and billiards), and currently serve as the OUUF Care Team Co-chair along with Catharine Covert. I look forward to serving the OUUF congregation as a board member at large. _______________________________________________________
Peggy Toppenberg	I am Peggy Toppenberg. I have lived in Sequim since 2015 with my husband John. We moved from Alaska, but I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and spent 26 years in Fort Collins, Colorado. I knew I was a UU from the moment I read the principles. I have been a member of OUUF since 2015. I spent my career as a nurse midwife/practitioner and recently retired from Planned Parenthood in Port Angeles. We have 2 elderly Springer Spaniels and enjoy hiking in the woods and camping. I am in charge of the Highway Cleanup project and serve on the Little Free Pantry Committee as a stocker. _______________________________________________________
Elaine Webber	Like many in our fellowship, I was invited to my first service at OUUF by Dianne Whitaker. As an ex-Catholic, I found UU principles to be very aligned with my own. I eagerly embraced membership in the fellowship. I have participated on the Board in the past. I served as Vice President of this Board in the past. When I became a Snowbird in the winter of 2018 it made Board participation more difficult. But one of the good things that came out of Covid was the use of Zoom. Because we Zoom, I can be on the Board and serve the community that I love. Also, I am a Sunday Service leader. When I am here, I help shop for the Little Free Pantry. _______________________________________________________
Phil Zenner	It is my pleasure to serve the Fellowship as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Trustees. It is my second time serving on a non-profit Board, the first being for an international men’s support organization. My career in software training management provided me with over 30 years’ experience in management, supervision, working with people, motivation, team building and problem solving. I believe that OUUF has much to offer all those who fully participate, and that each person should reciprocate if possible, by serving where their individual gifts and beliefs may lead them. _______________________________________________________
